Deves Piston Ring sets are based on detailed engineering drawings as well as on actual engines. Manufactured for practically all current American and import engines, with some models covered as far back as 1928! Checked for fit by a specially designed light-beam microscope (if light doesn't get through, neither will oil.) Designed to meet or exceed SAE, DIN, or BNA standards.

All Deves Piston Rings, compression, scraper and oil control are made in the necessary lengths and widths and in various thickness to ensure the proper tension against the cylinder walls. Expander rings are slotted to prevent any possibility of oil clogging. Deves oil rings consist of two laminated rings, separated by a spacer, which sit at the top and bottom of the groove and contact an expander ring. Scraper rings use an expander ring, when called for, under the scraper for proper tension.

Deves Piston Rings are installed just like any other piston rings. Each set contains the right combination of rings for a specified engine.
